Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful vacation. Misty river retreat was truly a retreat. It was clean comfortable and convenient. I also wanted to thank you for being available and a phone call away. We had our trip planned around hurricane Florence, I appreciate you sending me weather reports and keeping me posted on the river reports. Can’t forget to mention the special accommodations we agreed on for my four legged family members. You have fantastic public relations. I highly recommend Country Place Cabin. It is with a touch of regret that Jill and I are leaving. We came here for my birthday; and while it was a complete surprise for me, Jill also did not fully know what to expect. What we found here was serenity, an opportunity to reclaim lost time, and the best birthday I have ever had. Thank you for letting us stay, and we are proud to count this among our favorite adventures.

We came here for a couple of days for peace and serenity and found so much more! Dave was able to catch our meals right out of the river. He had a lot of fun since he and I are both so busy with our jobs back in Raleigh. Don and Gail are great hosts. We want to return and do this again. Dave may return to do deer hunting. Thanks for the wonderful experience. We hope to return again.

We had a great time at the lodge. The place is huge and has a ton of bedrooms. The kids loved the ping pong table and playing in the river our front of the house. Ben, the contact for the house is super friendly and easy to communicate with about anything about the house, property or local area. We will be coming back!
