The Country Place Camp is primitive and our campers enjoy:

1. Having either or both the base camp with kitchen/hot showers/flush toilets and the river front sites (with Portapotty facilities, no water or electricity) exclusively for their group.
2. Being in the midst of the surrounding George Washington National Forest with private river front.
3. Renting canoes, kayaks, tubes and rafts at adjacent Shenandoah River Outfitters.

Wildlife and insects are all part of rustic camping in the woods. There are no modern, enclosed camping facilities. All camping, water, and wilderness activities can be dangerous and require adult supervision and safe practices at all times and are at your own risk. As a guest, you accept all responsibility for your group’s safety.
